Without doubt our most popular course, the Level 2 Award in Door Supervision is a nationally recognised qualification which will enable you to apply for a Door Supervisor SIA Licence. Door Supervisors can work in a wide variety of locations, including licensed premises and festivals - and you can also work as a Security Guard.
In order to apply for an SIA licence to work as a Door Supervisor, the Security Industry Authority (SIA) have set a minimum standards and training guidelines. The Door Supervisors course syllabus will provide you with the basic knowledge needed to pass the exams and our instructors will also demonstrate to you the real life practicalities of being a Door Supervisor or Security Guard, so that when you eventually start work you will feel much more confident in your new role. The training consists of four modules:

SIA 1 Day Physical Intervention Training (Upskilling). Additional physical intervention training is now required to become a fully licensed and qualified door supervisor and all SIA Door Supervisors who have not completed and passed a physical intervention training course must now complete it to renew their SIA licence.
Applying for your SIA licence.With effect from January 2014, you must now apply for your SIA licence via the SIA on-line application form. If you encounter problems during the application process, call our team and they will guide and assist you in completing your application. When applying for your Door supervisor licence you will be required to produce:
Passport Photo x 1
Photo ID (your current passport or driving licence)
Proof of address (example: council tax, utilities bill, mobile phone bills etc)
